Welcome Message from
Mariana Salcedo, Parent Coordinator

Dear Queens Transition Center Families,
My name is Mariana Salcedo, and I am proud to introduce myself as the Parent Coordinator at Queens Transition Center (75Q752). It is truly an honor to work alongside such a dedicated school community, and I am excited to partner with you as we support our students as they prepare for life beyond the classroom.
At the heart of my work is a strong belief in the importance of collaboration between families and schools. When families and educators work together, students are better supported academically, socially, and emotionally. My role is to serve as a bridge between home and school ensuring that communication is clear, resources are accessible, and families feel welcomed, informed, and supported.
Together, we can build a school community rooted in trust, respect, and collaboration. I look forward to create meaningful opportunities for families to connect whether through workshops, family events, one-on-one conversations, or open dialogue. Your voices matter, and I am here to listen, support, and advocate for our students and families.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or ideas. I look forward to meeting each of you and building strong, positive relationships throughout the year.
With warmth and commitment,
Mariana SalcedoParent Coordinator
